Liam Robinson & Thomas Fairbairn have been making music together since 2000. They have performed as a duo at folk clubs and festivals, been involved in various educational projects, running workshops in various areas ranging from Improvisation, to English music. They regularly play for dances with Liam playing melodeon and calling the dances, while Thomas plays Piano or fiddle, delivering a traditional but punchy sound. Their dance band Pigeon English is gaining a reputation for playing an unusual repertoire of traditional tunes, in an exciting, intrinsically danceable style. |
